Kyle Sutherland
Kyle Sutherland, Head Coach (7th Season)Email Kyle
Kyle joined the staff in 2013 and serves as the program's catching coach along with his JV head coaching duties... Kyle graduated in 2008 from Issaquah High School, where he was a 3-year letterman at catcher and DH. During his high school career, Kyle earned 1st Team All-KingCo and All-State honors, was voted Team MVP in 2008, and was part of the 2008 3A State Championship team and 2009 team that finished third in State. ... He was the starting catcher and team captain on the 2009 Lakeside Recovery team that won the American Legion State Title... After high school, Kyle played ball at Edmonds CC for two seasons before accepting a scholarship to Virginia Commonwealth University, where he majored in psychology and minored in business. He played college summer ball for the Watertown Wizards (2010), Neptune Beach Pearl (2011), and Seattle Studs (2012-2017) - 1st place in the 2015 NBC World Series in Wichita Kansas.
 
Bill Sahlinger
Bill Sahlinger, Asst. Coach (2nd Season)  
Bill Sahlinger is a 2012 alum and enters his 2nd season as the junior varsity assistant coach. As a varsity letterman from 2009-2012, Bill played shortstop and pitched his junior and senior seasons after moving over from second base. After high school, he continued his baseball career at the University of Portland, where he earned WCC Freshman All-Conference honors in 2013. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and now works as a financial analyst at an insurance brokerage in Seattle.
