| Tyler joined the Newport coaching staff as the JV assistant in 2025. While still maintaining that role, in 2026 he's also managing the C-team. ... For the past three years, he has been a head coach with the Lakeside Recovery Baseball Program. Tyler graduated from Issaquah High School in 2019 and earned 4A Kingco First-Team & All-State 2nd Team Utility Player. The same year, he was named Team Captain and led the team to a 3rd place finish in the 4A State Tournament. ... After his high school career, he played ball at Big Bend Community College('20) and finished his academic career at Central Washington University with a Bachelor's degree in Law & Justice. | |

| Steve was a youth sports coach for his son Joe and daughter Gwen (baseball, basketball, softball, soccer) 2003-2014 ... Thunderbird Little League board member 2004-2013 in charge of fields and league scheduling ... Juniors baseball All Star coach 2008 & 2009 ... Recognized as Thunderbird Volunteer of the Year in 2008... Currently a player in the Puget Sound Senior Baseball League (PSSBL) on the Seattle Crawfords (2009-present)...Division champs in 2011, 12, 13, 15, 21, 23... In 2016 Steve and his wife Maggie were honored by KABA with the Community Commendation Award for Outstanding Service to Newport Athletics. |
